How do I trade-in my used smartphone and get my $100?*

 

1. Purchase and activate a new HTC Imagio, HTC Touch Pro2 or HTC Ozone smartphone - either online or at any retail location.

2. When you're ready to trade-in your phone, go online to www.recyclerebates.com/htc-smartphone
and use the promo code HTCPRO2 for access.

a. Program start date begins November 27, 2009. Purchase a new HTC Touch Pro2, HTC Ozone or HTC Imagio and trade-in your
qualifying smartphone by December 31, 2009. Package and send in all of the below items postmarked by January 31, 2010.

device by Palm, a Nokia smartphone or any device running on the Windows Mobile® or AndroidTM operating system.

2. A copy of the UPC code from the box of your new HTC Imagio, HTC Touch Pro2 or HTC Ozone smartphone.
3. A copy of the invoice/receipt from the purchase of your new HTC Imagio, HTC Touch Pro2 or HTC Ozone smartphone.

Hint: Ask your retail rep to make copies of the box UPC Code and your receipt before you leave the store!
4. Once the eligible used smartphone is received at the Trade-In Center we will mail you a check for $100*.

Note: Please pack up your old smartphone carefully. When we receive it, it must be in the same condition that you specified on the website or you will not get the $100* trade-in credit. Please read the trade-in terms and conditions carefully. We will not return non-qualifying smartphones.

Purchase and activation of a qualifying HTC smartphone must be completed by December 31, 2009 and one complete package containing the trade-in smartphone, as well as the other items specified below, must be post-marked no later than January 31, 2010. Limit one (1) rebate request per person and per household. Trade-in smartphones must be active and operational at the time the new HTC smartphone is purchased and must meet minimum criteria in order to qualify, as outlined on the website www.recyclerebates.com/htc-smartphone. To receive the $100 rebate for the smartphone you trade in, you must purchase and activate a new HTC Touch Pro2, HTC Ozone or HTC Imagio and mail in the trade-in smartphone with valid proof of purchase (copy of UPC and receipt) and the completed trade-in voucher. The new HTC smartphone purchase must be from any Verizon Wireless retail store, Verizon Wireless authorized retailer, or verizonwireless.com. The rebate check will be mailed via regular United States Postal Service within 60 days from receipt of both the trade-in smartphone and required paperwork. Used smartphones that are sent in that do not qualify either because a) the model of used smartphone is not eligible or b) the smartphone is not in the condition stated will not be eligible for the trade-in promotional incentive and will be recycled without any payment. Check the value before sending in your used smartphone as all trade-in transactions are final; after you send in your used smartphone, you cannot get it back, even if you return the new smartphone and amount received.
